After a phone consultation we will begin to work on an overview and strategy to develop the kind of site your company needs. A solid project overview will be established to make sure that we fully understand what you are looking for. We will probably need to extend this to a in person meeting (maybe more than one depending on the complexity of your site)
We need to have a good flow chart that describes the site that we will build, outlines and estimated schedule. We’ll outline sections of the site and individual needs of each section - examples might be special photography, gathering information for a topic etc. This can be a time consuming exercise area but well worth the investment and will save time once the development kicks in.
At this point we will sit down and review the roadmap for the project. You’ll have one project manager who will guide you through the entire process. Don’t worry we’ll guide you through this process. We can communicate via phone, email, in-person meetings or via the web.
After we have a plan its time to layout and mock-up the site. These will either be non working or limited functionality - its a graphical launch point for what your site will look like. Items that have to be considered at this point: search engine optimization, browser compatibility, download times, usability, and other technical issues.
Our developers will be planning and setting the architecture of your site. You could be part of this but its REALLY, REALLY boring! Don’t worry we love this is stuff! We compile all the pictures, graphics, copy and other materials and build you a “best practices” standard-compliant website. You will be able to monitor the progress before we go live.
When you site has been completely design, built, tested and you are satisfied with the finished product the only thing left it to post it up to the hosting platform and let the world see your baby! We can help you with search engine optimization, market your site or make modifications. We will never just build it and forget about it. Making you happy with the final product is our mission and goal - its the best thing we can do.
